Subject: [FS] 1986 CJ7 Worth $12,000 sell for $5500

Price: $5500.

Contact: Vernelle or Bob 623-583-1787 email vernellem@cs.com

My son gave me some details on his Jeep. It is a 1986 CJ7. It has an AMC 401 engine and a Turbo 400 automatic transmission.
Dana 300.
Fiberglass tub.
33X12.50 BFG Mud Terrain less than 25 miles on these tires.
Full size spare.
Shackle Inversion.
5 point harness.
Fold and tumble rear seat.

He paid $6000.00 for it 4 years ago and he has keeped it stored while he works on it. He has put an additional$4000.00 into it. It will be worth $12,000 when it has the drive shaft installed. This will need to be custom made and will cost around $300-$500.00 depending on how much you pay for the drive shaft. (Dave's Drive Line and Flying High will do the labor for around $300.)
He will let it go for $5500. This was going to be his "Dream Jeep" but he has ran into a cash flow problem and needs money now. He will need at least $1500.00 today to hold it for you. He has a guy that said he'd give him a deposit today, but who ever gets to him first with the deposit, is who he will sell it to.

Someone is going to get a really good deal! Call me if you are interested. This Jeep will be gone after today. My number is 623-583-1787. Thanks, Vernelle

Bullhead City is about 35 miles out of the way though (providing you
are going through Kingman). Either way, the Bullhead 4 Wheelers are
likely to know the area pretty well.

Mike,
You only need to replace the speedo gear. Here is a link to a chart
to help you figure out which one you need. Stu's page has a nice
write up on the procedure.

I can get a double axled trailer, I'd be towing with a stock '94

wheel drive. I have not been to Martinez Canyon. If members that have been

Friday off. could give it a try then. Let me know.

Mike,
You just need to buy the correct speedo gear for your tires and
gears. Any of the local offroad shops should sell them and be able to
tell you which one you need. There is a write up for installing the
new gear on Stu's website.

My local radio club here in the Heber/Overgaard area has it's mile of highway on state route 260 to keep clean, (Rim Country Amateur Radio Club Sponsorship). We usually do this three or four times a year.
Anyway, Of all the beer cans and bottles we pick up on every trip, it seems that Bud Light is America's favorite beer to drink and then throw the empty out the window. Consistently over the last 3 years, 90 to 98% of beer cans/bottles we pick up are Bud Light. As you drive down the trail, and pick up the empties you see, I would suspect that Bud Light is the hands down favorite or does drinking Bud Light make you stupid?
