I will take some pic. of the crossmember, clocked transfer Cass and HP 9"
this weekend and then I will send them. I did not need a clocking adaptor
since I am using an advance adaptors adaptor to mate the D300 to the NP435
trainy. I just clocked the D300 on the adaptor marked where my new wholes
need to be and re-drilled the adaptor. I also when I shoved every thing up
the top of the trainy hit the floor board so I cut out the floor of the jeep
and I made a cover out of aluminum diamond plate to cover the hole and the
top part of the trainy that now sticks up inside of the Jeep.
I made the crossmember out of 1/4" plate steel and had the vertical ends
bent 30deg. up and I have used all flat head screws that are counter sunk
into the plate steel. This will make for a very smooth surface to slide on
the rocks with.

My local radio club here in the Heber/Overgaard area has it's mile of highway on state route 260 to keep clean, (Rim Country Amateur Radio Club Sponsorship). We usually do this three or four times a year.
Anyway, Of all the beer cans and bottles we pick up on every trip, it seems that Bud Light is America's favorite beer to drink and then throw the empty out the window. Consistently over the last 3 years, 90 to 98% of beer cans/bottles we pick up are Bud Light. As you drive down the trail, and pick up the empties you see, I would suspect that Bud Light is the hands down favorite or does drinking Bud Light make you stupid?

The ARB without air will run you about $600 in the US. You can us them with
any air supply as long as the pressure is regulator between 100 and 110 PSI.
You so not get rears with the ARB you can use you old ones or install a new
set. In most applications the ARB part number will change depending on the
ratio of the gears you are installing on them. For a D44 there are two
different ARBs the break over is 373.1

Sorry if I'm re-hashing old ground,
I've surfed the net and the archives and not found answer to what I'm
looking for. I've heard that if you already have onboard air the ARB's are
not that pricey. Can anyone give me a ballpark figure for an arb minus the
compressor, minus the solenoid and plumbing, just what it needs to be
installed?
I come from Aus, so it wouldn't be too hard for me to get friends to buy
one and ship it over to south Korea at a value of $50, so I can diddle the
corrupt government out of their 20% import tax. The full kit over here
sells around US$900 not including installation. Is this a DIY'er?
Can anyone tell me about gearing? Does the ARB come with it, or does it
re-use the stock ring and pinion? Are there limits to how low you can gear
them?
Thanks.

Dang Randy, that thing was already about 3 feet off the ground, now

Do you have any good drawings for the new crossmembers/tranny mount?
Did you use someones clocking adapter, or did you make one?
That Jeep should be perfect now.

Right outside of Wickenburg there is this great trail...Just
kidding. Which way are you going to vegas. I know if you go up

stuff that is on state trust land. Just keep looking to your right

Are there limits to how low you can gear
them?
Thanks.
