Time to plan a ride?
Since I'm bringing it up, I'll throw out an invite to join me this weekend for a Hawes ride. How about Saturday morning?
I usually park at the Walgreens on Power/Thomas. Then ride up to the "top" of the trail network by going thru Las Sendas...nice couple miles of easy pavement pedalling to warm up.
Time? 8AM? 9AM???
Recommend being an advanced beginner (oxymoron?) to intermediate level rider for this trail. I don't think it's very technical, but much more than a canal ride!
Bring water, helmet, gloves and working bike...hey, this sounds like a Jeep run requirements! Pack a spare tube.
Minimum ride length is ~8-10mi, I usually put in ~12-14 with some of the extra (more fun!) loops out there.
