By itself it likely will offer minor and perhaps barely perceptable improvement. I can attest that as part of a total package it makes a seat of the pants difference. Nobody except maybe John Force and the likes can detect minor improvements at the butt cheeks so that means something.
I have a large TB, spacer, intake with high-flow filter, high flow exhaust and used to have a header. All that allowed me to run the 4.0L and AX-15 on 33s at highway speeds in excess of 80 MPH with 3.73 gearing in top gear without tap dancing on the clutch all the time. Now on 37s and 4.88 gearing 80+ mph is still easily achievable within the limits of tire balance.
There is no question all of the above adds up to a significant performance improvement at reasonable cost. I doubt any single one of these changes would be noticable in isolation though except on a dyno. I put the stock exhaust manifold on after the Borla cracked. Off road I have never felt left wanting for power but the stock engine was fine in that regard anyway.

I have a AEM air-intake, a Hesco Throttle Body Spacer (62mm) and Rubicon Express Throttle Body (62mm), Borla Headers & Cat-Back Exhaust. i can only tell a difference cruising at freeway speeds, alot smoother. i think i need to buy a Chip to space it all out. here are some pics:

I've got the AEM Brute Force Cold Air intake with the 1" TBS (comes with the intake system) and a Gibson Cat Back system on mine and it made a huge difference. Much quicker off the line and instant response/rev when quickly pushing down on the g-pedal. Getting a little better milage as well.:D

x2. No matter what Renob says. I have the same setup as above except I put a high flow muffler and cat. These mods (plus an electric fan) took my mpg up from 10 to almost 16.

No matter what Renob says.
Careful...this could be misconstrued as an inflammatory post.
;)
The 62mm tb alone isnt going to amount to a hill of beans, ergo, snake oil.

So, how many mods does it actually take before Jeep becomes the best 4x4, or it ceases to be a Jeep at all?
