Why would they do that? I live in mesa but I'll keep my eyes out anyway.

I really don't know how a parent could handle this situation. Stories such as this didn't really register (at least in the same way) before having kids of my own. I personally don't think I'd be able to handle myself.

I wish his family the best. If he's a runnaway it's strange that he wouldn't take his walet.

Hey guys, here are the latest developments.
One of my sons friends have been chatting with some of the people that are responsible for helping and hiding him.
They have said that they are convinced that we are psychotic parents and they will not tell us where he is hiding.
We have printed these conversations and they are now in the hands of the Sargent of detectives for TPD.
We are now waiting to see if they will do something now or tell us to go fly a kite again.
So, for all those ready and willing to assist in the search, please stand by for further updates.
Thank you so much again for your willingness to lend a hand.

How old is your son? If hes under 18 by law the police have to deliver him to you or his friends give him up, whichever first.

Posting this for Brian (AzRockRunner) but want to add my thanks to all that have called and offered assistance. The offroad community has again shown it's true colors. This is a cut and paste of his post on NAXJA.

UPDATE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We are calling off all search missions for the night. It would not do us any good as he is not out on the street, he is being hidden by his friends. At this point there are legal ramifications that WILL be brought against any and all that are helping him hide like this and lying to the cops and us about it.

The police will NOT do anything further on his case until he has been missing for atleast a week. So, please look while your out for him and call me ASAP if you spot him, but other than that, there is nothing more we can do.

I TRULY do appreciate all the support and phone calls I have recieved from all involved in this and a few other threads. A special thanks goes out to El Presidente Jim for lending out his computer and house in this time of need.

Thank you all again and I will post up when he is found.
