Hey all,

I have been asked to rally the troops for another poker shin-dig. I figure we have a couple of options depending on the number of persons interested.

If we have < 10, we can go with a cash game. $20 buy-in.

If we have > 10, we can go with a home tournament setup. $20 buy-in.

Ryan Rich has already volunteered to host, and we have table and chairs.

So, please vote. Are you interested?

After we know how many are interested, we will work out a date.

It will be BYOB/F.

Im allways down for some hold em. I usually play every saturday with a bunch of buddys. Usually 14-18 participants. We do a 20 dollar buy in with a 20 dollar add on after the 2nd blind. Blinds are 25 min long then go down every hr. So it dont take all night. Start with 2000 in chips. Allways looking for more people if interested just p.m. Me and ill give some more details. Anyway im down for a poker m&g. Anytime!!

Cool...Can explain the add-on a bit more? Also, don't you mean the blinds go up every 25min? :confused:

I am down for poker night! We usually play every weekend or so, usually just for fun but sometimes we'll do a $5 or $10 buy in. I've been lookin for a good group of guys to play poker with since I moved to AZ, back home we used to play alot.

yeh, sorry i didnt explain very well, but the time of the blinds go down every hour!!!! we do a add on for 20 so we make the pot a little bit bigger and it makes people play a little different. its just a friendly game so we do the add on so peole dont go home too early!!!! we do casino style tourneys. or so we say!!!!! i can allways get at least 10 people to come but there not jeepers. 1 is, he has a 82 cj 7. he will be down. any more ?s just contact me or post to the thread. let me know if i can bring some people. I'm sorry, but I guess I just don't understand this format. So the blinds go down every hour and you all ante up another $20? :confused: :confused:

Ok ok say the time of the blinds are 25 min long, antes for small blind is 25 big blind 50(chips that is) after 25 min the blinds go up to 50 for small 100 for big, after that 25 min the time for the blinds will go down to say 20 min blinds 100 small 200 big. So after 40 min the time of the blind will go down to say 18 min. It keeps the game going a little faster. That should cover what i was trying to explain!!! Hope you get that format. Allmost just like the casino tourneys just there time for blinds never go down. (there there 24hrs a day!)

Yeah, the idea John is to quicken up the pace of the game so those with large amounts of chips aren't bogging the game down and so it doesnt take 10 hours to finish.

That is a good question. In all honesty, it would be completely up to the host. I imagine a Saturday ot Sunday afternoon would bode well?

I say we plan it at least a couple of weeks in advance.

Good Friday everyone, I'd like to play, been a while. Get a place to play yet? I would like to open my house to a poker game, I boarder Scottsdale, live in Phx. around Indian School and 52nd st. Plenty of room and have 2 dinner tables, patio table and camping tables, might need a few chairs.
