I don't have that specific new carb, but coincidentally that ad showed up about the same time I bought a Holley 390 from Randy Siade who had it set up nearly identical to the new carb in the ad. I've run with it the last 2 weekends and it has yet to even sputter. Randy can probably attest to it's ability better than I, as I bet he's had it on more difficult terrain than I've wheeled it...yet!

I saw in the March Petersons off road magazine a new carb by Holley
for off road use. It features one piece vent tubes and a modified
metering block to eliminte spillover at severe angles. Looked pretty
interesting and wondered if anyone has tried it yet. Also where is
the best place to buy Holley locally or internet(price).

After the long ordeal of buying my Jeep, Darner made me stand for a picture before I could leave. At the time I thought it was really stupid but I do have a shot of my rig before mods which was kind of nice. Recently I completed most of what I wanted to do to the Jeep so I thought I would recreate the same shot that Darner took. To my surprise I look shorter rather than the Jeep looking taller. BTW - My Jeep was dubbed the Barbie Jeep with the white top so if you think Smurf is bad think again.

I haven't found a dirty Jeep in AZ yet, Pam and Armor All, what you
can't make dirt stick without adding something, how about some EP2
grease that should do the trick. All I want to see is a picture of
one dirty Jeep in Arizona, from this club.

Subject: XJ Questions?

Hello Gang,
I have had nearly everything done on the XJ that I can think of. I still have a rumbling noise in the front end. I had the steering overhauled by FlexyXJ, and it is GREAT! I checked out all of the u-joints and they are great. I did take off the front drive shaft to see if the noise disappeared, and no it was still there. Has anyone ever had anything like this come up in there jeep history? And has anyone had any experience with front wheel bearings? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Casper

I finally got around to getting subframe connectors on the ZJ. Thanks
Hunter Offroad!!! Now the subframe/unibody is so stiff that the
suspension actually has to do the work it's supposed to do instead of
flexing control arm brackets. Time to put the heim-jointed control arms
back on!

I found a more open grill (93 ZJs have very poorly designed grills), a
30% antifreeze solution and a bottle of water wetter will bring the temp
down in my Jeep about 15-deg in the hottest part of the summer.

Hope that helps.

Actually, to the best of my knowledge, they provide medical services for many
different and fucntions activites. They are a private group of volunteers.
