What trail is this?

Yesterday we came in box canyon from price road on our way to Upper woodpecker. Well along the way the leader went right when we should have gone left and me following went along with it. It didn't take long to figure out this was no longer box anymore. We didn't go very far before turning around because we wanted to stick to our plan of woodpecker.
We were thinking of going back soon to see where it leads but I was wondering if it is even worth it or not.
Its in between the turn off for martinez/coke ovens and cottonwood canyon road. I tried to get some pictures of land marks to see if anyone had some info.

The "Bad Road" sign is the entrance to Bad Medicine. You also passed the entrance to Overdose on your right as you were headed in.
