Jayke,

You must be wrong. You have apparently made a mistake in identifying the
problem. I've been told, repeatedly by ARB owners on this very list, that
these kind of things do not happen. That is why I recently got rid of my
Detroit hardware and installed ARBs. Tell me it isn't so!

(the above is a paid political joke, so don't anyone get their panties in a
wad!)

I noticed my ARB compressor was making quite a hiss.
After looking at it last night, I noticed the gasket

is this a pretty simple fix?

Hello Gang,
My son lives in Mesa, on Country Club just a couple of blocks from the interstate. The scum busted out his rear window in his Toyota SR5 4x4 pickup, and after totally trashing his dash etc., they took the whole works =
CD Player, rear 6x9 speakers, amp, and his custom built speaker boxes with two 12" speakers, and well over 200.00 in CD's which were kept in a custom built storage unit. So, lock 'em up tight guys. And then that may not enough. Well I thought I would let you all know, especially those living on County Club rd. Oh BTW, after the cops dusted for finger prints (because the scum left their tools, flash light, and lighter, on the rear bumper), it was very apparent that they had intentions to try and steal the truck, for they found the same prints on the steering column, around the ignition and the ignition was really damaged as if someone tried to insert a screwdriver and bust it over. Well I thought I would just vent, and tell you to watch your rigs................

I am fortunate to have a nice big rock for me to play on when im bored in front of my house! Unfortunately, when I had my old 4.5" RE kit, it could get to the top of this rock without lifting a tire. I still have another 6 or so inches to the top of that rock, and as you can see, my driver side front tires is off the ground by about 3"!!! What is wrong here? The anti-rock sway bar is even disconnected! I do have rear sway bars, with the extensions... and I run the provided Old Man EMU Nitro shocks that come with the new lift kit. Any ideas as so why this baby isn't on top of my house by now? I am kind of disappointed.

I don't have an ARB compressor ;). The problem lies in the option to
get an ARB compressor or another better compressor for the same cost.

Doesn't Gant make a "horn kit"? I thought they did with all the parts
you need to repair it. You might have to order it vehicle specific
but, check into it. Another option in going junk yard crusin'. I will
be going in a couple of weeks and I can keep an eye out for you,
seeing how I will be looking for 75-79 waggie/cherokee/J-10 axles.
Let me know.

Greg,
How was the trip? Were you able to cross the Verde at Childs? I tried
to do this same trip a few years ago in the reverse direction and
couldn't cross the river. Even with 5 extra gallons of gas, I was
running on fumes when I finally made it back out to a gas station.

Dugas to Childs is a very scenic trip, too. To do it as a one-way
trip, you need to get a rancher to open his gate and find someone at
the Childs power plant to open 2 gates and escort you through the
plant. There is a hill that is nearly impassable if there is snow on
it. It took 6 hours to move 2 vehicles(1 with a winch) a half mile
through the only snow covered section of narrow road on the side of a
steep mountain.

Color me stupid but what are the saddlebags for on the little jeeps. I have a full size ('78 Cherokee WT) so where they go on the brothers/sisters smaller vehicles escapes me.

David,

This is a "No Coils" party :-p

The interesting thing is that there are 3 members in the club with leaf
springs, and they will all be in one place on Sat :-)

BTW - If anyone with a TJ is looking, in the future, to lock their D35c; I
will be selling my D35c complete (ready to install) with 3.73's & an ARB at
the end of this project. I haven't decided on a price yet so make me offers
with the fact in mind it will be about 7 weeks before I am ready to get rid
of it.

That part of the Verde is crossable, but you need someone to walk it or
prod with a stick. There are large holes, but easily maneuvered around.

Greg,
How was the trip? Were you able to cross the Verde at Childs? I tried to
do this same trip a few years ago in the reverse direction and couldn't
cross the river. Even with 5 extra gallons of gas, I was running on
fumes when I finally made it back out to a gas station.

Dugas to Childs is a very scenic trip, too. To do it as a one-way trip,
you need to get a rancher to open his gate and find someone at the
Childs power plant to open 2 gates and escort you through the plant.
There is a hill that is nearly impassable if there is snow on it. It
took 6 hours to move 2 vehicles(1 with a winch) a half mile through the
only snow covered section of narrow road on the side of a steep
mountain.

I was there in the spring when the water was high,
fast moving, and ice cold. There wasn't any way to go
that didn't involve driving through water at least 3
feet deep. The shallowest spot was right before the
rapids and still a couple feet deep and moving very
fast. IMO, not worth the risk of riding my jeep
through the rapids. I have been there since when it
was low enough to cross. With the lack of snow this
year, it may be possible now. I was just curious if
they made it through.

Well I was in the tan YJ, with the red neck antenna coming out of my drive way... you were that XJ with the diamond plating I always see running around.
BTW, I saw you once at the corner of Enterprise and Butler and noticed that your front drive shaft is rotating as you drive.
