I know that a lot of people here ride, so I thought I'd come here for advice.
I'm looking to buy a motorcycle in the next few weeks and looking for any input on what to look for/stay away from, years to avoid, etc. Right now I'm looking at the 750 or 1100 Honda Shadow, but I'm not dead set on that brand/model. This will be my first road bike, but I'm pretty comfortable on dirt. I'm looking to spend under $4k.
