I've never run the MTR's, so I can't compare the two. But I did get the
new BFG KM mudders from Rick a couple of months ago. Not only do they look
awesome, they're great in the dirt and rocks. Since I like to travel up
north, I got them siped to run better in the rain & snow.
His new # is 623.412.3849. Give him a call. He'll give you a smokin' deal

I would like to get 4 new ones and I am undecided between the
Goodyear and BFG. I am leaning towards the Goodyear but if BFG is
cheaper I don't mind getting them.

I have received no responses to this. Is there at least one person who is interested?
I was looking at the 3.5+ trails and am considering the following:
Jack Handle
Orville's Loop
Sycamore Creek
Tax Collector
Interest will determine what trail and day.
P.S. Hopefully this will work better, rather than me posting on Friday night

Dear Mike,
I joined the virtual jeep club today but I don't have a jeep. My friend in San Diego does and she is coming to visit the first weekend of March 2002. We are looking for a trail that two single gals and a 5 year old grandson can navigate. She's a novice. Her jeep is a 11/2 year old wrangler of some sort. We were hoping to go with someone else but realize that we can't really join a club with her lliving there. So can you help me??

The U.S. National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (news - web sites)
said Chrysler would recall 316,148 Jeep Wrangler sport utility vehicles made
between June 1989 and December 1995 to fix parking brakes that can release
on their own without warning.
Chrysler will also recall 268,740 Dodge Ram pickups to fix an alternator
wire that can come loose and create a fire hazard. That recall covers 2001
model year pickups built between January and August 2000.
Chrysler spokeswoman Angela Spencer Ford said there had been 11 complaints
about the Wrangler's parking brakes, including four injuries. Dealers will
install a stiffer spring in the parking brake to fix the problem.
She said there had been two reports of fires in Ram pickups, with no
injuries. To fix the Rams, dealers will check the wires and tighten the
connections if necessary.
Federal regulators said Chrysler had not given a timetable for performing
the repairs.

If you have a welder available just get the stuff you need and
build one the way you want it. Wheel Equipment has all the
hardware you could ever need. Axles are less than $200, order
them in whatever load rating and dimensions you require. The
standard five-bolt wheel pattern on a trailer axle is the same as
most jeeps (not CJ's and not the WJ's). Fenders in all shapes,
sizes and materials...
Even if you don't have a welder someone could weld up a simple
frame for you not much $$'s I am sure.
Would make a fun project and you will get exactly what you want.
I have been thinking of an airbag suspension for my trailer, just
pump it up to raise the trailer for off-road.

Dear Mike,
I joined the virtual jeep club today but I don't have a jeep.
Thanks, Charlene

This is just a heads up to all you YJ'ers out there:
DETROIT (Reuters) - The Chrysler arm of DaimlerChrysler AG will recall about
585,000 Jeeps and pickups for two separate problems, federal regulators said
on Tuesday.

Chris....Upper Woodpecker is anything but a 4.5. I ran it backwards last Saturday, coming home from the trail clean up. I never engaged my lockers. Yes, the Fire Hole is certainly a challenge, but it can be bypassed with ease and then some.

Actually I'm working on a "Spousal Abuse Run". Maybe I can figure out which trail to run by march. Should be a riot for the guys and a lot of fun for the ladies..

Subject: jeep run
Dear Mike,
I joined the virtual jeep club today but I don't have a jeep.
Thanks, Charlene

Thanks James. Now how long will chrysler blow me off before they actually do
the recall. ;) Any suggestions on which jeep dealer would be the most
honorable.
