Nov 7 is the Chili Poker Run hosted by the Creepy Crawlers (I think)
Nov 20-22 is the Parker 4-Wheelers Desert Splash in Parker, Az. Great 4-wheeling and worth the drive.
Nov 20-22 is also the Rock Crawling Championships in Las Cruces, New Mexico.
Nov 27 is Petersen's Off-Road Truckfest at PIR.
Mud Springs trail is the AZ Lo-Rangers 4WDC Adopt-A-Road. This would make a nice trip, or maybe an overnighter at the end of the trail. The Mud Springs trail is a deadend trail.
Apache Leap also sounds like a fun one. I have never been on it. I hear it is a really tight trail for full-size vehicles.
My suggestion is Mud Springs or Apache Leap

I installed this kit last weekend, and it does work. I was able to adjust

I put detailed installation instructions with pictures on my website.

Subject: November Plans
Looks like the votes are in for Mud Springs. How about in 2 weeks on Saturday,
November 7. This is a class 4 trail, so you will need some lift, off road
tires, and at least LSD in the back. Some protection like a gas tank skid
plate would be advisable (speaking with experience ;-). Linda suggested this
as a possible overnighter. If we have enough people, perhaps those of us who
want to stay can and another group could head on back that day.
For those of you who want something a little easier, how about the Table Mesa
Road trip 2 weeks later on November 21. This should be a nice scenic day run,
probably Class 2.5 to Class 3. This would be a good run to meet some of you
newer folks who haven't been out with us yet!
Let me know what you think of these dates and if you would like to come. The
dates are changeable of course, and so is the route.

I'm in for Table Mesa. The CJs going to retire for the winter unless I
can get the frame fixed. Doug and Dan remember some of the problems I
had on Reno Pass; they may have had something to do with some good-sized
cracks throughout the frame. Last owner trained himself to weld on it.
The Cherokee's not up to class 4 (yet), but 3s shouldn't present a
problem.

Sounds good to me. I'd be up for an overight. There's a spot at the base
of the large hill (near the end of the run). I never made it up the
hill, since I was doing the trail solo, and didn't want to try it alone,
but as I recall, Linda indicated that there was a line shack or
something at trail's end, w/ some camping spots also.
For those not interested in camping, this trail can be done in a fairly
leasurely day.

Nov 7 - Chili Poker Run (Creepy Crawlers 4WDC)
Nov 13 - Charouleau Gap 'show me' run for the Nat'l Trail Symposium in Tucson. (Tucson Rough Riders 4WDC)
Nov 14 - ASA4WDC Q3 Delegate Meeting. I am the Environmental/COnservation Chair so I have to be there.
Nov 20-22 - Parker Desert Splash (Parker 4WDC)
Thanksgiving - probably working. Y2K stuff.
I have Dec 5-6, Dec 12-13 open. I think...
We (boyfriend and I) will be out rock crawling on New Years Day in the Flo-Juction/Box Canyon Area. We are trying to turn this into a annual event.

I installed this kit last weekend, and it does work. I was able to adjust
the pinion angle enough to get rid of any vibrations, and also get rid
of my T/C lowering kit.
I put detailed installation instructions with pictures on my website.

The Cherokee's not up to class 4 (yet), but 3s shouldn't present a
problem.

I don't have the mods (or experience) necessary for a Class 4 yet
, but the Table Mesa run sounds like fun.

As a follow up, there is also a hiking trail (Mud Springs Trail), that's
supposed to be at the end of the run, if anyone is so inclined. This may
be the same trail that Dan and I came across when we went north of Four
Peaks several weeks ago.

I am booked solid for the month of November. It looks like I won't make the Mud Springs trip.
