Hey guys,
I am looking for some old shocks. They don't have to work real well as I will be driving slow. I have an XJ that has about 7-8 inches of lift. Anyone have some front and back shocks that I can pick up at a low low price so I can limp down to 4 wheeler supply in a couple weeks.
I may have went to high with it but thats another subject.
Please PM me if you have some shocks..
Thanks, Andrew

You should be ok driving it through the surface streets, although I have a truck and trailer if you want to just trailer it there. Let me know.

If you stay on the surface streets, and drive cautiously, you shouldn't run into a situation that you NEED shocks... They are there with the pirmarily purpose of controlling spring rebound... SO, if you don't get them bouncing, you should be "OK"...;)

Thanks for all the info and the offer Ben. I may take you up on the tailoring offer in the future. I am in East mesa and I am not sure if I can make it into phoenix without some bouncing due to the conditions of the roads.
Thanx Again, Andrew

I am not far from your shop. I may bring it by Desert Fab instead of `driving all the way down to 4 wheeler supply.
