dont know if i need a big party to swap in a new cross member on my xj but does anyone know how hard it is if it is a more than 1 person job and if anyone has any tips on how to make it go by fast let me know thanks

its super easy... get a jack stand play it under transmission slightly lifting up on the trans/t-case.... unbolt t-case mounts then unbolt the bolts that go to the frame. ( i didnt mention itbut put a jack under the cross member ) then lower xross member...
get new one... ut on jack, raise up NOT ALL THE WAY... leave room for movement to alogn holes.
put a few bolts into the frame. and then lower trans down into the holes.
tighten all bolts.
walla done... should only take you 1-1 1/2 hours.

yeah i only have 4 bolts tho for my cross member so i dont know how hard it will be to match up the holes thank you tho for the info!

While it is off you might want to inspect the transmission mount. If it is anything like my old zj when I bent the crossmember (assuming yours is) I also damaged the mount.

yeah the mount is damaged aswell but i cant get the wrench to the bolts to get the mount off so i just put it back together and ill do it again later
