This is not jeep related but I just finished the brakes and rotors on my sisters audi tt. What is supposed to be a simple job never seems to work that way for me. I messed up the threads on one of the rear slider pins... BAP doesn't sell them... Audi parts counter only sells them as part of the caliper carrier which is $160 and isn't in stock... 20th street auto yard was closed... I was freaking out cause I told my sister "dont go to the audi dealership for your brakes, they'll rip you off, let me do it instead"... but now the audi was out of commission until next week.

finally found a place called Affordable German salvage yard (1510 W. Broadway in Phx) Bill, the owner, said they probably had what I needed from a late model audi and said I should drive over. He didn't even charge me for the part so I'm very happy and I finished the brake job. They of course specialize in VW, audi, mercedes, bmw, etc and do repair work too.

I'll remember them next time I screw somthing up on the audi.
