Hard Top Lower Hatch Seal Replacement?

Has anyone ever changed out their weather seal between the hard top glass and the metal body rear door? Does it just slide off or do i have to rip out the apoxi that it was attached to? Any sugestions?

FSM says its attatched to the glass....if it needs to be replaced, replace the glass :eek:

Yes seems awfully extreme! Any other suggestions... Think I can just rip it out! and just apoxy another one in there?

I heard i could get it cheep at some auto place or dealorship so.... I'm still looking, finding that guy who told me that.

I gotta keep an eye on this thread. Mine is torn up.

Although, I wouldn't mind getting a new rear window. Mine has weld burns in it. How, I don't know.

That is an expensive way to get a new seal though.

I have seen weather stripping kits on eBay for hardtops ...

However, I never noticed if it included the lower seal for
the back glass .......
