In all honesty though I believe Rachel is very sweet. I think she gets a bad rap mostly brought on by herself spreading the rumor. I don't believe it one bit. As such, she truly deserves a nice night out on the town.

I personally like the compass room. Having dinner up there can start out a great date. Their service is pretty good at night (sometimes not the best during the day). It really sets the mood.

One of my favorite things I did years ago was a carriage ride in downtown Scottsdale. It was the evening where everyone opens up their art exhibits. We had the horse/buggy ride then strolled through the exhibits. This of course was very specific to who I was with as she loved art.

Another nice restaurant is T Cooks or perhaps House of Tricks in Tempe.

Personally the type of women I think she may be (only met her a couple of times, but because of the whole Jeep lifestyle I may be able to stereotype) she would probably really like something to get the adrenaline pumping. I would consider shifter cart racing before/after dinner. This would have to be done after you decide what the overall feel of the date is. Obviously if you're dressed up it probably won't be an option. Also if you do the true shifter cards (we're talking bondurant) you're looking at upwards of $400 for each of you. Would definitely be worth it if you're looking for a date she won't forget.

As far as tandem goes, I'm also a tandem instructor, and the harness does not facilitate the act, nor does the environment, 60 seconds is just NOT enough time! :eek:

We should all plan a skydiving trip sometime. I know Silva tried this once before, but I'm a bit more persistent when I want to do something.

Skydive Arizona, I've known the owner (Larry Hill) for many years. Most professional operation this side of the Mississippi.
I didn't know how appropriate it was to name my Jeep HYJAK..... But since I'm doing it all the time, did you get my PM Joe? Still having problems loading pages...:( No one at the wrenching party seems to have this issue, don't know what to do.

No one else seems to be having the problem and I can't duplicate it myself... I simply don't know what to tell you. The pages seem to be loading just fine for everyone but you. The only thing I could suggest is to wipe winblowz from your computer and re-install it. A virus? bad browsers? Who knows... but I'd bet a complete install of windows will fix it.

OR..

Better yet; toss the winblowz machine and get an Apple! You won't regret it :D

I was thinking about Eloy. Haven't jumped in AZ, but heard good reports from others that went to Eloy.

Another Idea has always been to do a Hot Air Balloon ride. They leave CaveCreek rd and Jomax daily. Champagne in the afternoon flights and breakfast in the am. (I'd go with a mamosa in the am)

Thanks Miles, Duality picked out a fun old thread that got lost before we ever put the skydiving class together. Honestly though, there are thousands of skydivers that have thousands more jumps than me, and I don't believe anyone has "done the deed" while in freefall. I have been out of the sport for a few years, and I know they are doing things we thought were impossible, so I could be wrong.....
