I pulled my T-case today to do the SYE and when we cracked the case the oil pick up fell out and I cannot figure out where it goes. My t-case is taken apart all over the table, my helper had to go to work (who took most of it apart) and now I've got to figure out how to put it back together... this really sucks....

Make very sure you get it back in the right orientation as it can go in both way.s Also, very critical, get the torque when you put the big nut back on or it may not pump correctly. The pump pickup tube is also easily crushed if it falls down in when reassmbling. Just double and triple check everything and you'll be fine.
Believe me about the torque wrench or you will be taking it apart and possibly rebuilding it again shortly. I didn't have that experience but know of several.
