I can help but I don't have a winch - just tow straps and jacks.

Where are you and what are the problems? I don't have a running rig right now, but I can drag you once to the road if needed.

Some friends from CA are heading over right now and camping at the FJ jambo spot tonight. They'll be running Martinez Canyon tomorrow and might be able to help depending upon where you're stuck. Let me know and I can get word to them.

Correct me if I'm wrong here, but aren't you the same "gentleman" (and I use the word loosely) that was busting the guy's balls about getting his Jeep stuck in the flash flood in this:

http://www.virtualjeepclub.com/showthread.php?t=15426&page=4

thread?

Are you even really serious about needing help or is this a little game you've decided to play?

Guys,

If you'll look at this joker's other posts, you'll see a pattern. He's a freakin' troll. From some of the crap he's written, he's probably a greenie.

Burn the witch! :D

Oh, and by chance is "Damien" the same guy I gave my old 91 Toyota cab to for his truck after it rolled over? Profile doesn't fit, but I wasn't sure.
***EDIT*** cab looks familiar in some of his pics....still not sure though. Just curious. :)

Even if I neglected to use good judgement, first time I came close to getting stuck I would have turned around and lived off of the several days food and water I always carry in a milk crate along with a comealong and other gear.

First I'd like to thank those who helped me from the bottom of my heart. To those that helped me, you have singlehandedly restored my faith in the inherent goodness in humanity in a profound way.
There have been many times in the past and in the not so distant past that people have not been there to lend a helping hand. I have always tried to help anyone in dire straits, and even though I may lambast someone for poor judgement I would never fail to lend a helping hand to those truly in need.
To those who feel the need to point out what they see as apparent hypocrisy in my previous postings, so be it. If anyone ever needs my help, be it pulling you off a ledge out of a river or wrenching on your broken rig in the middle of nowhere at 3 am in the morning, I may question your wisdom in doing such things and chide you for it, but if you tuly need assistance dont hesitate to ask.

That wouldn't work, I'm a service advisor at a JEEP dealership!

Thanks though.

Michaelp... I can understand your point, as I do the same thing in ribbing folks for stupid acts. But I'll never shy away from helping someone who truly needs it.
Well, that actually comes with a disclaimer:
I reserve the right to refuse service to anyone at anytime for any reason. :)
(e.g. you were drunk and went tearing across open land when there was a perfectly good trail/road/route to follow to the same destination. If you're heading to the new trail or exploring a notch canyon in search of new play areas or full on trails, then I might make exception... But I'd prefer that you Tread Lightly! and respect our dwindling available lands!)

And here I just thought you were a troll.....turns out you actually were stuck and actually do own a Jeep. What happened to "I know my rigs limitations and mine as well". If you know your rig and yourself so well.....how is it you managed to get stuck in the first place, Superman? Could it be that you're human like the rest of us? First I'd like to thank those who helped me from the bottom of my heart. To those that helped me, you have singlehandedly restored my faith in the inherent goodness in humanity in a profound way.
