Bastids!

I wanted to buy the new engine skid plate on Saturday. I asked Keith for a price and he gives me this outrageously high price. I told him I could purchase another brand online for over 100 dollars cheaper. I biatched and moaned all day about that and couldn't figure where they got their pricing from. I called my buddy and was telling him as well when he mentioned that another shop will have Skid Row engine skids on sale after X-mas. Done deal!
Well I open my gifts this morning and there lays a receipt for 4 Wheelers engine skid! My wife, 4 Wheelers and my buddy were all in on it. Bastids! Keith jacked the price up knowing that my wife had already purchased the skid for much cheaper.

Nice job guys and I look forward to getting her installed. :)

HAHAH, I asked the dude behind the counter how much when I went to get one, and you were standing by us so hes like SSSHHHHHHH, his wife got him one!!
I came back a bit later and grabbed it, sure will be nice once I get it on, ill have to bring the jeep in some time this week and have them install it for me.

Hahahahahahah, Toni pulled me aside and was all freaked out and was almost resigned to tell you that she got it when you started to talk about it with Travis, Jeff and Mike. I pulled Simon aside a little later and gave him the 20 second run down and it looks like he passed the word along to his cronies.

Barry (I think it was him, coulda been Bryan or Simon) and my wife did damn near the exact same thing to me years ago. But I actually went in ready to purchase. I wonder how he kept a straight face when I reacted with "You have got to be kidding me! That's the _____ discount?" and walked out.
