Need Help

Ok I suck at working on the jeep so I got the book and I still suck at working on the jeep. I have the Haynes Repair Manual but it does not tell me where the transmission fluid dip stick is:confused: . I know that it is suppused to be by the fire-wall on the passenger side. I have looked and looked. I looked on both sides I do not see it. Where the HELL is it???????????:mad:

Daniel, munual transmissions don;t have one:D.....YOu have to open the top plug on the side of the tranny and check with ur pinkie....if checking the fluid is what u want to do.

Maybe you have a stick shift????????? Only a joke there bud? Yes it is on the right side back (passinger side) with a yellow handle that says, ?TRANS.? And you bought a book for this?

I thought we all knew the quality of haynes/chilton manuals: they are best used when you are broke down in the middle of nowhere and you have exhausted all other possibilities..... they make excellent fire starters!!!:D
