by Associated Press
WASHINGTON - DaimlerChrysler is recalling more than 62,000 model year 2007 vehicles to reprogram a brake system computer. It's to avoid the loss of antilock brakes and traction control.
No accidents or injuries have been reported.
The recall involves Chrysler Sebring, Chrysler 300, Jeep Commander, Jeep Compass, Jeep Grand Cherokee, Jeep Liberty, Jeep Wrangler, Dodge Nitro, Dodge Magnum, Dodge Charger and Dodge Caliber vehicles.
The automaker says when instrument panel warning lights go on, owners should take their vehicles to the dealer. Recall notifications are expected to go out in February.
The company is also recalling more than 6,000 2007 Chrysler Sebrings with automatic temperature control for reprograming the system computer.
