Met with them yesterday the pending '07 JK order.
I know some folks have not been happy with Earnhardts. Well, Earnhardts is a big big dealership with what appears to be lots/offices everywhere. That said my experience has been nothing but good, but then I have only dealt with the folks on Baseline just off Rural Rd in Tempe. I have dealt with Gerry Ashland the Fleet & Internet Director. Outside of that, I cannot provide an opinion. But the folks at Earnhardts have been stand up all the way.
We checked yesterday on the GPS MyGig and it wasn't coming up on Dealer Direct so I pulled the plug on an '07 and gave them 2 choices:
1) Give me back my $1k deposit and I will come around again in Jul-Aug or whenever I can place an order for a '08 JK.
2) Keep the deal we have now to buy at invoice a '07 and just move it forward to make the deal a '08 and place our order ASAP.
#2 is my preference. They picked door number 2, changed the paperwork, we shook hands and all parted company happy.:D
Now, just kick back and wait on '08. Who knows there could even be some surprise options available by then:cool:
