Big snow here in the Denver area and entire front range. I-25 closed from Wyoming to New Mexico. Be thankful for your AZ weather..........below the rim anyway!:D

Oh man, I miss the big snow. I would love to be there. Chained up, 4 lo, and bring on the blizzard. Spent some years in Flagstaff and go to play in the snow. Man I miss it.

It is happening again. I have really grown to appreciate the ARB's front and back this last week. Denver side streets are still treacherous from the last dump. Long time Denver resident, Wynkoop Brew Pub owner and Mayor of Denver, John Hickenlooper stated in the news that he wasn't aware that the city didn't plow side streets.:D

Which doors? :D

I-70 is shut down in the hills as is 285. This snow is wet and heavy........more like spring snows. Kathy Sabin in the 9-News "back yard" is telling us we'll get 12" to 18'' overnight with a short break tomorrow afternoon, followed by a possibly bigger dump. I have a 24 hr shift on the ambulance at 0600 with a ten mile drive to get there.

I would be more inclined to post a picture of Kathy in the "back yard" wearing an umbrella than snow up over the doors.

Hey honaker did we meet at the AZVJC BBQ? Were you FH guy with the nikon artillary strapped to your neck?

I'd like to be an honorary member of the Colorado Chapter, as a former resident of Golden, CO up until Aug '05. Fountain Hills was the closest thing that I could find that matched the Beauty of Golden. I miss the snow days. I thought my deck was going to collapse when Golden got 5 feet back in 2003. I'll be in Denver in January, hopefully it dumps!

Wasn't me. Last time down to FH was over Thanksgiving.

The next meeting of the AZVJC Colorado Chapter I will petition the Steering Committee to consider your application for honorary membership.

All in favor?.....................Aye

Markos,

You are in!

Highly unusual for this much snow back to back in the city. I miss the bike riding in FH and McDowell Mountain Park!:D
