I've looked everywhere for a tow bar that would hook up to the welded on D hooks on my Warn front bumper but, other than getting one custom made (quotes ranged from $350 - $600) I couldn't find one off the shelf, and still haven't found one.
BUT - I did find one that a friend of mine has been using for years. NAPA has them for $220. Its only about 26" wide, fits nice between the D hooks, and is rated for 3500 lbs but looks alot beefier than any of the other off-the-shelf one's around. My friend has towed his TJ (5.5 RE Long Arm, 35s, winch, over top storage rack - yes much heavier than stock) all over the state with it and says it tows great with no trouble at all.
I went ahead and bolted it on but could've easily done a little fabing to make it fit the D hooks on the Warn bumper. Still may do it another day.:)

Have you purchased it yet? I don't have any suggestions but $220 is a bit steep unless it's a telescoping tow bar.

Yeah, I bought it yesterday. Again, it's the only one I could find for what I was looking for. I guess I could've shopped around the welding places but the two I did ask to make me one quoted me way more than $220. It really does look and feel like a good, strong tow bar.

Did you try the one that 4wheelers sells it fits their bumper with bushings. It is very heavy duty made tabs to mount it to my bumper works great.

I don't believe that tow bar can be had anymore. It's my understanding the company that made it closed shop?

Its Smittybilt the one I got came with all the hardware and brackets. If 4wheelers does not carry looks like 4wheel parts does.

That's what they told me at 4Wheel Supply - that the company no longer has them available. I don't know if it was Smittybuilt or not.
