HomeDepo has a 250lbs 1/2" torque wrench for $69.xx
Can't remember the brand...but sounds like a good price right?

You can get a Craftsman (same specs) at Sears for $59.xx

Or you can spend more and get a really good quality Snap-on or Mac or such.

For most of our needs, the Craftsman is fine.

I have one.... it works just fine. Especially for setting the torque on larger nuts like Unit bearing nuts and driveline yoke nuts.

I have the Home Depot one as well. Well actually it broke a few weeks ago. It served me well for a few years. I had it set to 220 ft/lbs tightening up some caliber bracket bolts on my dually. Worked fine, but when I went to release it the handle just spun. I ended up going to Lowes to buy one after that. Well, the one at Lowes is the same brand, just blue instead of red. I was going to return it and graduate to another brand (Snap-on) but got lazy and never returned it. I would definitely recommend it for occasional use for the price. It seems to be accurate with a rudamentry test I did with it. Then again for things suchs as wheels the actual torque isn't as important as is that each lug is consistent.

I got mine for $15 at Harbor Freight a while back. I have used the same one of a friends many times in the past, and know quite a few people who also use it. It is a decent/accurate torque wrench for not a lot of money.:)

The brand is Husky. The precise specs vary from shipment to shipment, it seems. My last one was silver, this one is black, and I have seen other incarnations. The first one I had from a few years back broke so I now have a new one. Can't complain for the $50-70 paid though since an equivalent wrench from SnapOn that goes to 250 lb-ft is very expensive.

I have smaller ones (up to 50 lb-ft and 150 lb-ft) from HF and a couple of other off-brand cheapos in oz-in and N-m calibrations around here too. They only seem to last for a project or two then croak, but they are reasonably accurate and for the price, I certainly don't mind replacing one every few years.

I don't think Cole likes the French. The link worked fine for me. :D

And since Canadians are "kinda" French:
