I have about 6750 sport cards, +/-50, that were sort of passed over, and I'm basically clueless on their value. They all appear to be in excellent shape, most are complete, old and new cards. I searched the web but not mucho info found other than it seems they start at about .50cents each to over $80 for specialties(<which ones are they:D)
Anyone knowledgable would care to take a look?

i would take an inventory and then look on ebay personally..
probably the older the card, the more its worth...or if you have rookie cards, check on those ones first.
if you start up a sort of database with them, it should help you to keep track of what you have for a collection...
or you can just give them to me :D

Define "sport" cards. Baseball cards will fetch much more than will football, hockey, etc. cards. Rookie cards of players who ended up having stellar careers are always good. Then again, rookie cards of some players who only played a short time can be worth alot too. Card condition is key too, but it's apparent you've kept them sleeved so that helps alot.
How old are some of the oldest? If you started in 80's/90's they might need more time to really gain value. If you have cards from the 50's/60's/70's they are likely worth more now that those players careers are over. I have a collection too (not nearly as many as you) and I'm just sitting on them for another 20-30 years, then I'll give them to my daughters or their cousin, depending upon whose interested in them.
Shannon is correct. Spend the time inventorying them (create an Excel spreadsheet) and you'll get a much better idea what they're worth.
I cringe everytime I think of some of the cards we used in our bicycle spokes back in the mid 60's :(

Like k7mto said... unless your cards are pre 1980 they won't be worth much. Commons aren't worth anything, and the good cards are only valuable if they have been PSA rated, which costs at least $10 per card...and if it is not in PERFECT condition, PSA will rate it low and it ain't worth jack.

well I looked through the first binder and it's late 70s to the early 90s....
How the heck am I supposed to find the brand name through all those writings:confused: Seriously there's like a zillion words at the bottom...
I found this card that was seperated from the others and there is one just like it on ebay (http://cgi.ebay.com/1991-PRO-SET-WALTER-PAYTON-CARD-SIGNED-PSA-DNA-SLABBED_W0QQitemZ220052377112QQihZ012QQcategoryZ73 406QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem) well almost it's not signed and psa whatever it is....:D
Seriously though, how about you give me brand names so I can identify them better thanks.

Are the cards sorted in any way? If you have them broken down by manufacturer and year, do an eBay search to see if there is anything worthwhile from each year.
For example, "1983" topps will bring back Ryne Sandberg, Wade Boggs, and Tony Gwynn as the only cards with any value. Check for those cards, pull em out, move on.
