I am looking for a team to join or starting my own. I play goal and have played a few pickup games at the Rollerplex in Peoria. PM.

Rollerplex has a novice adult division. Myself included, all we need is 4 guys to have a team. We could play CoEd if you guys now some ladies that want to play too.

We could call ourselves

The Jeeps

Didn't know you were a keeper John. You don't strike me as the aggressive type, must be all finesse. ;)

I can't blade, never was able to pick it up but if it was just regular old floor hockey, I'd be for it. We won the co-ed division in college. :D Then again I'd be challenging you for your spot. :D

Good luck getting a team together!!!!!

Doesn't matter to me who plays, just looking for 4 people who can COMMIT to one night a week. Most likely Friday evening or Sunday evenings.

Anyhow, equipment can be had for cheap Daniel if you are interested.

Here is the required and suggested equipment. I would check Craigslist, someone is always looking to sell off there stuff for cheap...

Required equipment:
HECC-approved helmet (face cage required for players under 18)
Elbow pads
Knee/shin guards
Hockey gloves
Skates
Stick
Jersey
Protective cup (males)
(ALL PADS MUST BE COVERED)

Suggested optional equipment:
Mouth guard
Padded girdle
Hockey pants

If you could set up Friday evenings, Myself and maybe my brother would be up for that. We have both played league hockey before. Sundays would be no good. How long is the season?

I play at ASC on Tuesday nights. They also have a novice co-ed league on Sunday evenings. This is our second season after not skating for 3-4 years. First season back we only had 4-5 skaters each night, this season we have 9. It's always not enough or too many.

If something pans out, I'd be up for playing, but I don't see Sundays working out. A Friday night co-ed league sounds fun. Hockey chicks are almost as kool as Jeep chicks.

John, if you're looking to play more right now, call Dan @ ASC, it seems like they're needing fill-in goalies every night we play. 623/587.7171

Ok...Seems like we have some interest!!! This is great!!!

Friday's would be fine with me...

I believe the seasons are about 10 weeks in length.

Here is the link for more infomation

They will be starting a "C" league on Friday nights. It looks as though that night should work for most.

Check out the site and let me know if you are seriously interested.
