You are on a horse, galloping at a constant speed. On your right side is sharp drop off, and on your left side is an elephant traveling at the same speed as you. Directly in front of you is a galloping kangaroo and your horse is unable to overtake it. Behind you is a lion running at the same speed as you and the Kangaroo.
What must you do to safely get out of this highly dangerous situation?
If you do not know, see answer below.

I was thinking that you needed to wake up... but then again, you'd have to wake up to get off the boring merry go round, so i guess I was half right, huh?
Can I get a cookie now?

That's the type of question I ask candidates on interviews to determine their thought process. That's funny though...

Whats funny about this question is that I'm probably the only one on this board that this may happen to!
I'd stay on the horse since elephants and lions are only good at sprinting and will fall behind a horse in the "long run". But, if it was choice between taking on the elephant or taking on the lion, I'd take on the lion!
Big cats lose their bluster pretty fast (don't ask how I know :o ) so you'd stand a good chance of walking away, elephants on the other hand are a determined lot, and more than likely there wouldn't be much left of you to clean up!
Similar to what Mike said, in my line of work you have to think of things like this. It may save your life if something happens and you find yourself on exhibit with one of the critters!
