Snow wheelin is a blast...unfortunately in AZ you have to catch the storms just right....last year I was up on the Rim above Strawberry the Saturday of the big March Weekend storm and went back up the next weekend to the same spot and it was almost gone.. The snow melts/evaporates so fast.
A pic from mid day Saturday last March in the DD/TR. The Jeep would have been a blast but damn cold.... :p

Wayco; Peoria, She's an AZ native and we're both cold weather wimps, but she just got out of the truck where the heater works awesome and it was prolly 80° in there. The Thermometer in the truck for outside temp read 24° at that point.
John; The frickin snow was awesome traction, I have the factory 245 M&S's on it and 55 PSI and the truck just kept on goin as long as I was smooth on the throttle.....I wanted the Jeep bad. lockers, more clearence and about 2 PSI and I coulda went anywhere....:D
Bring on the snow....I'm goin.
Great pic Antman, where you at?

my guess is by this weekend all the snow will be gone? i think we should have a snow run around january, whats everyone else think?
Wayco
11-30-2006, 05:07 PM
Yeah, it will be gone. The only way to get a snow run in AZ. is to get up there when a BIG storm hits us. Sometimes that doesn't happen at all. Thats why Snowbowl is going bankrupt.

I agree 100% that a snow run is gonna be all about timing.....but I'm definately in. I used to snow wheel all winter in Washington.
