I have so much to be thankful for this year I would know where to start. What the heck, let me try:
It was almost a year ago to the date that we found out my daughter had cancer. It has been 3 weeks since we got the news it, the cancer, is all gone now.
Speaking of my daughter's cancer: It was Sandee that gave me the name of a great group of oncologists. I used them when I had it and my daughter used them for her cancer. There are some of the best.
There is another thanks; to Sandee.
My son finally graduated from college and I have a new daughter-in-law. Finally he can take care of himself and he has someone he can argue with besides me.
The list goes on....
I don't have much to talk about about in the "wheeling world", but let's just say this was a "rebuilding year".
Be greatful...

BTW - WD: if you want, we are having 40+ people at our property for a grand thanksgiving day meal, one more person is not going to make a difference. Bring a friend and we will call it an even 2.
Let me know.

Yea....forgot about that...I am thankfull for having a roof...a real one this time...cause living in an apartment for 7yrs sucked (can't make noise or anything plus biking down the stairs bothered the neighbor). I am thankfull for having food but I really think that turkey is overkill, I sleep enough like it is but with that I'll wake up in two weeks:rolleyes: I am thankful for my parents to be here and my grandparents to be alive. I am thankfull to be in this jeepclub and thankfull to have met such great people. I am also thankfull that anything that goes wrong can be blamed on Shannon:D and that Dennis finally admitted to his feminine side (but dood stop the harrassment on yahoo thx:cool: ) :D:D:D

James,
Thanks a lot for the offer but unless you want to move your 40+ party to Omaha, then I will be unable to make it. :D
I did find out though that the hotel we stay at feeds us a nice cooked T-Day meal so it won't be all bad. :)
Bob,
Yea I'm working for my first ever T-Day but I'm actually not flying tomorrow, just staying the day in Omaha.

I hope everyone has a very Happy Thanksgiving. Please be carefull while traveling.
We will be spending this Thanksgiving in the hospital with my Dad. We are very thankful that he is still with us. We are still fighting a up hill battle, but he will make it.
I am also very thankful to all the people that have been involved with my Dad, from the Fire Dept. to the Doctors and Nurses. Without them he would not be with us. And thanks to everyone on the board for their thoughts and prayers they help.
Happy Thanksgiving

Happy Turkey Day! Be safe on the road and don't drind and drive.
DON'T FEED YOUR DOG/CAT TURKEY BONES!! I'm working at the Emergency Animal Clinic tomorrow and I don't want to see your beloved pets there!
And no chocolate either!

and make sure they CANT get to the bones later in the trash...
long time ago...we had some friends watching our Dachshund....they had ordered KFC for the family...and threw the bones/etc away...after they had gone to bed the dog got into the trash and got ahold of the bones and choked on one....and died.
So even if you dont feed them to them...make sure this doesnt happen to your pets...
Hiya Rachel!!
