Well for those of you who know me you know whats up. lol Well, I did finally move out. I also did let the Jeep go. We are getting it painted this week and I did buy a new truck. I got a Dodge Dakota 2wd. haha yes onlky 2wd and only a v6. I had the option to get a v8 2wd and my premium would only go up $100 for 6 months. I figured for me and right now I went the right way. I am always still up to go with you guys if you want the one and only Franchise to ride along or to give a hand. Once the jeep is sold I will be getting about half so I will be able to pay half of my loan on my truck and my student loans off. My plans are to get a 4wd 4 wheeler. That way I can play with that and not worry about whats getting me to work to much. Thats right folks, I want to do Payette Draw on a 4 wheeler!!! hahahaha maybe not the ledge though.... lol So yeah, I thought I would fill those of you in that know me and what I have done. Oh and Nick, Chuck Norris is MY home boy!
BTW-Powertank and some other stuff for sale for sale! PM me.

The ledge may be easier than you think on a 4 wheeler depending on your riding ability.

You seriously think that the very last ledge, where the Huge pond like thing is can be done on a 4-wheeler, I dunno about that.... maybe I guess.... Only one way to find out....

You'd be surprised what a 600lb machine with 3-4 psi 12" wide tires can do. Believe it or not a larger waterfall can actually be easier on one. A1-2' ledge can frequently be more difficult than a 5-6' one due to the wheelbase. Although only the largest bore utility quads can do this, a undercut or 1-2' ledge can be done by getting the front end off the ground and blipping the throttle just right once your back wheels get in the right position. It's actually pretty easy on a CVT quad. It gets more difficult especially on 4 stroke sport machines as a clutch combined with the torque can flip you over backwards faster than you think.

The 350cc Honda's are really a workhorse. However, to todays standards a 350cc 4 stroke is really 10 years old in terms of the typical 4x4 quad these days. Typically you'll see the current models in the 500-800cc range. The modern utility quads can push upwards of 70mph and actually lift the front end with a bit of weight transfer on your part. They act more like the sport models from several years back.

I really think Honda dropped the ball and went a bit too high tech on the new models. They have great reliability (second to none) but the new drivetrains really struggle for traction. Its about the only quad on the market that you have to worry about the affects of an open differential because their electronic gimmicktry just isn't where it needs to be yet.

I'm a big Yamaha fan. With utility quads also check out Polaris... Polaris had reliability problems years ago but have been very solid the last several. I'd say any model past the '98 or '99 model year will offer you years of service. Some don't like their 4 wheel drive but most think it works great.
