A dealership can not, and will not, dispose of a trade until the deal is
done, that is bought by a bank or whomever, at the terms with which it is
written, and all the paper work is completed. You (the buyer) are under
*NO* obligation to purchase the vehicle under any terms that are different
than what is signed. If the purchasers credit is not such that the
dealership can sell the contract at those terms, the buyer can simply return
it. The dealer will have the trade to return also. If not, a simple trip to
legal consul will probably net you bunches of cash ..BTW, interest rate
really has nothing to do with credit worthyness. What normally happens is
that a bank will agree to take the contract, but they want to be in a better
position, i.e., more cash down.
Cheers,
Fred

I have found in many cases you can find a junk yard 3/4ton Ford or Dodge for
less. The you not only have the front but also the rear and if you are

Hello All,
Les Roach lead a trail run Sunday, December 30, 2001 across FR-42
We had a nice run down Fr-42 this morning and out through Indian Springs Wash. Perfect sized group of 8 members, 5 TJ's, 1 YJ and 1 CJ. Started out a little over cast and chilly but before long the clouds broke, it warmed up and we had an awesome day for wheeling. This was my first time on this trail and I really enjoyed all of the off camber flexing. I would like to thank everyone who came out and made this such a fun run. And a special thanks to Jon Loveless who volunteered to lead the run. Jon, it was nice to finally met you.

Just read the FR42 trip report & yes! It was a great day for wheelin' . That is a twisty, tweaky, twurky trail, and more than once there was air under my CJ's tires. I think we all caught air along the trail in places, one wheel at a time.
I had a terrific time, and I think everyone else did too.
Thanks to Jon L. for leading.

Hi all- Just to let you know that I finished changing out the heater core in my daughters '91 Beretta today and everything turned out great. 6-7 hours taking apart and putting together the dash just to get to the core, which took all of 5 minutes to swap out. We fired it up and How about that, it blows heat! Spending $70 on the core and a day fixing it was made well worth it when my 17 year old daughter ( who had helped all day) smiled and said thanks. Those of you with teenagers will know what I mean. I want to thank everyone who responded to my request for information in an earlier post, this is a great list.

Subject: [TR] Trip Report - Martinez Cabin - Saturday, December 29, 2001
Hello All,
Jim Florence lead a trail run Saturday, December 29, 2001 across Martinez Cabin
We had a great trip upon meeting at the Texaco we decided to head straight to Upper Ajax and set up camp later at Martinez Cabin. We met with Roger Bunch who came all the way from New Mexico with his wife Mattie and son Adam. Roger drove an XJ and drove it very well. We hit Upper Ajax and found out right away it would be a good run as Jim L. (Crusher) bent the cerimonal tie rod right away. We got him repaired and over the 1st obsticle and it was Scott's turn who did very well with the help of a few well placed rocks. I came next and with the help of Rogers winch to get the rear of the Jeep back on line and again a few well placed rocks I was through with no damage. Roger came up and just walked right through with his XJ. The rest of the trail went pretty well with no problems. We then headed towards Martinez and stopped at Axle Alley to walk the run. After all the pictures it was interesting to see it in person. As soon as a few of us add winches this will be on the list. Roger went back to the Jamborree camp grounds and we headed to Martinez Cabin to spend the night. The next morning we met Roger and Mike Chatfield at Upper Woodpecker. Mike C. led the run and everyone went through very well no real trouble at all. I got revenge on the last obsticle for when I got stuck at Jamborree and went right up and over. We started to walk Highway to Hell when Mike's Dog Jeeper decided to get up close and personal with a Cholla (not pretty). Mike we all hope Jeeper is feeling better. To everyone I had a great time and enjoyed meeting Roger and his family. We will have to do it again next year. Jim F.

How much are you going to pay. My brother in law has a Yamaha R-6 for
sale. The fastest production 600 ever made. I'm not sure what he's
asking, and I think it's a 1999. Let me know if you have any
questions. Where is Tanglewood in Phoenix, and Midway in Glendale?
Thanks, Mike

Cheers,
Fred

Hello All,
Les Roach lead a trail run Sunday, December 30, 2001 across FR-42
