So after considerable pressure from my piers, (Brad and Rich) Here are a couple of pictures of the tube fenders I had installed at 4 Wheelers last week. Due to time constraints, I just hit them really quick with some primer before last weekends campout.

The crusher corners will be in this week, I hope, and I will post up more shots as this project progresses.

A couple of issues I see are getting the hidden surfaces primed, and my TbT front bumper covering where I had planned on installing my front turn signals.
I suppose I could take them back off to prime the hidden bare metal, but can't decide if it would worth the hassle in our dry environment. I think I will try to take a can of primer with me when I go to 4 Wheelers for the crusher corners. A quick rub down with a scotch-brite pad and a little primer on the inside would make me feel a little better. I still have to take off my rock sliders and push out the quarter panel a little so I can seal up the gap there. Then prime the spot on the fenders that they cover.
Does anyone have any trick insall pic's of turn signals for tube fenders? I can't put them on the grill, my bumper and winch cover the area that the old CJ's had theirs. :( I saw some LED's that might work, but can't figure out how to mount them... (no welding skills here)

Are those 6" flares? Have you seen John's (Lifes A Jeep) turn signals on his TBT bumper?

Were these part of 4Wheelers original order? Hmmm, Simon?

I ordered crusher flares early in late September and was told they were on back order 'til mid-October, then should've arrived last week. Still waiting...

Those look great. I wish the top tube was one piece and didn't have that joint. It may look a bit cleaner, but overall, very nice.

The tube fenders PSC had in stock when I ordered last month. We are both waiting for the crusher corners now, they told me they will be in this week.
Yes, they are the 6" flares, and the crusher corners will be also.
I haven't seen John's lights, but here is a shot of what I did to make mine legal for last weekend;

A little two sided tape and some clear silicone held them on, but this is NOT the type of work that can stay on for long.

Wow, those things are huge, glad I don't have anything like that. With those skinny tires you will be hitting every rock & tree in sight and soon they will look like Antman's only worse because his are 3 inch. :D :D

I would make a point of putting primer on the corners before install. If you look at mine you will see why even though I painted the crap out of them. You do want to keep your ride lookin purttty, don't you? :D Are you going to paint them yeller?? Better get some extra for touch-up. Really, they do look good.

They will be yellow, and bigger is better, isn't it? I'm just getting ready for the bigger tires, bigger gears, bigger lift?
Then maybe I will need a bigger Jeep! and a bigger house to put it in! HELP! IT'S CONTAGIOUS!

WOW! The drugs you must use would be more expensive than a few little parts.... I don't see the benefits.

Wannabe, you need to change your sig. The new lift is impressive, but I won't be impressed until I see it on the trail. Oh, and how about those Bears? The second half against NY Giants ROCKED!!

Yeah buddy!!

I need you guys to tear me away from work/kids soccer/fiance/hunting/etc...so I can get out.

What are you doing tomorrow afternoon? I have an ortho consult at 1330 for my wrist that I broke in Feb. rolling my buddies Willy's and didn't know I broke it. Anywho, you wanna tinker around out at the tanks after I get done for a little bit?

1 pm workout at lifetime fitness, 2:30 Massage, and thats if I can kick this cold that I got last weekend camping. We both have the same problem, buddy, too many interests and not enough time. It will happen, maybe after I get the crusher cormers on. Lets keep this idea in the forebrain and work on it.

Here's pictures of my setup. After some friends and I put on my PSC fenders, we were searching for a place for the turn signals. Somewhat as a joke I mentioned how about the light bracket on the bumper. So we tried and were absolutely blown away by how well they fit. They fit perfect and are snug. I bought the 2" lights from Pep Boys for around 10 bucks.

I couldn't resist the action shots:D

I can take closer pics if you want. Also, the wiring is tricky. You'll need a resistor from radioshack and you'll need to open up your steering column. See Stu's website for more.

Thanks John, awsome looking rig, I am going to be patient and wait until spring to get the 35's, but there is still alot to do before that.
Gears and Chromo axles for Christmas, I love my wife!

You don't need a resistor if you get an LED flasher. I think it is an EP26 and the only place I found it was Pep Boys. The EP26 from Checker and Napa was not the newer LED model. Make sure is says LED on the flasher.

on the later year TJs if you use EP26 and turn on the hazard lights you will blow a fuse every time. You will need to solder in a resister with the flasher... or you can order one from Northridge4x4 already soldered but its about $50 I think:

I thought I recognized that Jeep today at 4 wheelers! Nice rig. So how was that drive back to Goodyear? The radio guys keep saying how terrible traffic is today.

Being a local westsider all my life, I have knowlege of an alternate highway, county road 85, also known as Buckeye Rd. I slipped down Washington to 7th St. south to Buckeye and was home in less than an hour. :D
Yea, those new fenders make my 33" tires look SMALL! Next month I will be back there spending more money for 4:88 gears and alloy axles. Then all I have left to do is 35" tires.... Good thing this is a business vehicle.
As soon as I get paint on them, I will post pic's.
