Where do you have your front ox locker cable routed and mounted? Mine melted up near the engine. According to ox, they need to be run in a straight line as possible. Also, does any one have a small amount of heat shielding insulation I could buy from you to wrap part of the new cable? I don't want to buy a whole roll when I only need a small piece.

If all else fails on locating proper shielding, fiberglass cloth will work for this...
Buy a small piece from your local ACE hardware, and wrap the cable with that, tying it off with nylon ty-wraps & a couple wire tag ties, or wire cored bread wraps also.
Then, keep an eye on the nylon wraps for evidence you have the cable routed too close to exhaust or ???... That way you'll be able to react to it BEFORE it damages your new cable...:)
