We were blessed with an OUTSTANDING x-mas this year, I happened in to
a little money so we went crazy! My son Mason got the green limited
Jeep power wheels. I couldnt bring myself to put the lame stickers on
it so it has some Jeep stickers and some aftermarket stickers like
powered by K&N on it. I'm looking for a 8" Warn sticker to put on it
so it looks like Joe Wests! ;) LOL I got some Jeep collectables, lots
of clothes, a new skateboard, Fosgate MP3 in dash CD player for the
Jeep, and the new Dell I'm using right now! and some DVDs!! :) Merry
Christmas everyone!! Mason and I are taking our Jeeps out to the park
to go wheelin!!! -Rob

Hi Wayne,
We've been enjoying our stock '99 TJ with 31" BFG AT's on easy to moderate =
trails in AZ, UT and CO.
A couple of good books to get you started are:
• "Arizona Highways, The Back Roads" put out by ADOT.
• "Arizona Back Country Adventures" by Peter Massey and Jeanne Wilson.
Both books are more than enough to get you started and can be found in book=
stores.
There is a run planned for Dec 29 to Montana Mountain Road which is posted =
on the club web site that you might want to consider trying. We've been on =
that trail several times and think your Liberty could handle it without any =
trouble.
Get in touch if you need more info.

The road over Gunsite Pass is *not* washed out to the impassable point. Some
of us did a run through there just a while back, no problems. There is a
section of the shelf road that has/had a lot of debris washed over it,
throwing you off camber towards the air side, but a lot of the debris has
"disappeared" and it's pretty much ok now. The people who ran it, also did
Sycamore Canyon, and it has some "interesting" areas now, but the regular
'ole Gunsite Pass Run is fine.
Cheers,

Ralph,
It worked great, but when I replaced the steering box last year I took
it off and never put it back on. Now with the OBA taking up space, it
might tbe hard to re-route the heater hoses. I am going to see about
re-installing sometime next year.

Merry Christmas, Brian, and all. I got a tow hook for the rear, a tap and
dye set. I already had the Rockcrusher Cab Top for my jeep. Got it over a
week ago. Now have to get a new Duster as the one I have now, it's snaps
don't fit the new top. My son, Cody, got some real mirrors for his YJ, and
luckily I have a tap and dye set as we needed it to install the mirrors.
Had to drill, and tap new holes in the door hinges.
We were out side doing this at 9am this morning with the temperature at
16F. Its 35F right now and has been a beautiful day!

WOW, Santa brought you a SYE?? Cool! :)
I got a bag for the back of the Jeep, 2 "sport" handles that go on
the roll bar, a new Jeep hat and shirt, Friday off and a rear
driveshaft! Oh ya, a new cd and a wallet! Pretty nice Christmas.

Enjoyed the desert and family. I am surprised at how few responses I now get

Hello All,
Jim Florence is leading a Martinez Cabin trail run on Saturday, December 29, 2001.
When: 8:30 A.M.
Where: Texaco Station at Flornece Junction
Rating: 2.5+
Length: weekend
CB Channel: 4
We will meet at the Texaco and drive in to Martenez Cabain and set up camp. Then head back out to run Upper Ajax. Go Back to camp (if time allows walk Axle Alley). Sunday morning break camp and head out run Upper Woodpecker and maybe play on lower on the way out. It will be cold at night come prepared.
Martinez Cabin is a wonderful trail for the "new" 4-wheeler with his stock vehicle and family.
This trail will take you into Martinez Canyon which has to be one of the most beautiful canyons in the area, in league with Sedona red bluffs!!
You can have lunch under the Cottonwood trees at the old homestead and you may explore the old mill.
Stock vehicle, stock tires and novice drivers, this would be a wonderful trail for you!!
Enjoy and remember to TREAD Lightly!

Hi Wayne,
We've been enjoying our stock '99 TJ with 31" BFG AT's on easy to moderate =
trails in AZ, UT and CO.
Happy Trails,

The road over Gunsite Pass is *not* washed out to the impassable point. Some
of us did a run through there just a while back, no problems. There is a
section of the shelf road that has/had a lot of debris washed over it,
throwing you off camber towards the air side, but a lot of the debris has
"disappeared" and it's pretty much ok now. The people who ran it, also did
Sycamore Canyon, and it has some "interesting" areas now, but the regular
'ole Gunsite Pass Run is fine.

It worked great, but when I replaced the steering box last year I took

might tbe hard to re-route the heater hoses. I am going to see about

Only slightly off really... It was all good.
Enjoyed the desert and family. I am surprised at how few responses I now get
on this list. Fairly telling I think of the demographics now.

Subject: [TR] Martinez Cabin - Saturday, December 29, 2001
Hello All,
Jim Florence is leading a Martinez Cabin trail run on Saturday, December 29, 2001.
