Don't worry can't get there from here:mad: The interstate is shutdown somewhere past Cotton Lane. After 5 or 6 HAZ MAT fire trucks past me I got the idea and turned around.

Lets see if he can make it back! East now closed for 4 more hours!

UPDATED at 12:00pm: Interstate 10 at 187th Avenue is still closed in both directions near Goodyear because of a multi-vehicle collision. Police had told us that westbound lanes would re-open in about an hour, but it has taken longer to clear the roadway. Eastbound lanes are expected to be closed for four or more hours while hazardous materials are removed. Eastbound traffic is being diverted off at Jackrabbit and westbound at Perryville. More details will be available as they emerge.

He won't have to come back on I-10, he lives in Surprise. Best to loop back on Palo Verde. It could be crowded too, considering the mess we have out here in Goodyear and Buckeye!

I just got home about an hour ago, and the freeway was still shut down. I was prbably the last one to get through west bound, as I saw the accident happen. A pickup was crossing the median to turn around, and pulled out right in front of a semi. By the time I got stopped, I was 200+ yds past the accident. I witnessed 3 heros stop behind the accident and selfessly rush to try and help the victims. As the truck was very quickly becoming fully engulfed in flames, they pulled two people out of the burning wreckage. I dont know what happened to the semi driver. I hope these 3 guys helped save someones life, but by the look of the accident, it might have been a futile effort, but my hats off to them! They deserve a medal.

OK, now on to the wheeling. This was my brothers very first wheeling trip in his own Jeep. He had a bad taste of wheeling this summer, as he was riding with me on the fateful night run of Scorpion where it claimed the life of D-Dubs Jeep, and put a hurting on mine. We made short work of Appetizer and Tax Collector, but then the Jeep Gods smiled upon my brother and blessed him with his first ever carnage! Nothing major, just a little character marks. Firebird was fun and then I hit Scorpion by myself with a little moral support, Pics to follow shortly.
