There is a local company in Mesa that has a very nice entry level bender
similar to the one on WWW.JD2.com.
M-Tech Supply. He has many different options and dies for it.

Just another suggestion. I did not buy one yet.

Ok you guys are going about this all wrong.

How can I get a list of the orignal equipment that came with my
Jeep? I know this sounds odd but I think they switched gas tanks on
me when I had my Jeep serviced. I took it in for a gas leak under
warranty a while back and realized yesterday that I could only fit
15 gallons in the tank. It took a while to notice because I fill up
pretty regular but I was driving errands around town and and didn't
notice my fuel level until the tank light came on. When I bought
the Jeep I could put easily 17 gallons in and there is no damage so
the only reason for this change is if they switched it on me.

Hello All,

Steve Schaefer is leading an Unspecified trail run on Saturday, December 29, 2001.

When: December 29, 2001
Where: Meet at the Florence Junction Texaco at 9:00AM
Rating: None
Length: 6 hours
CB Channel: 4

Montana Mountain Road, Forest Routes 650 &; 172

This is a nice scenic run well suited for stock or slightly modified vehicles. The trial is rated 2.5 to 3.0 in most 4X4 books so it's not real difficult. It starts out near Superior and heads up several switchbacks to some nice high elevations were we might encounter some snow. The trail then heads back down and exits back to Queen Valley Road which connects to US60 near Florence Junction. It is similar in difficulty to Box Canyon, Martinez Cabins &; The Coke Ovens. This should be a nice relaxing post Christmas run. The AZ chapter of TTORA will also be along.

If memory serves me correctly, don't they pull your gas cap and screw on their own with a little hose attached to it? (It has been a while since I've gone through emissions.) If that is true, then would they have even tested his cap for pressure?

I failed the pressure test today at the emessions place. Who knows what all the causes are? I checked out the hoses leading from my tank to my fill spot and put a silicone seal around all the ends of the tubes. Where else can there be pressure leaks?

I believe they clamp the fuel line near the throtle body. So from there to the cap. This would include your filter connections and the pump connections on top the tank. a couple of months ago I had a fuel leak at the pump connection. I cut the hose an inch and put on a new clamp.
Good luck.

Yes, they did clamp something under the hood. I heard the lady commenting how she loved Jeeps 'becuase it is so easy to reach those things'. I didn't know then she was talking about my fuel line. They did take off my fuel cap and twist their own on with a sensor attached. Now that I know it goes from there all the way to the fuel line under the hood I'm gonna follow it around and see what I can find. I'm not sure how I'm gonna pinpoint a leak though. I'm not sure how I'm gonna get to the pump area....

The fastest way is to use a lighter or match so you can see the leak right away:) use a flash light Nick or your heater may be the least of your troubles. Jim F.

Nick.....hold on buddy. I believe the "thing" they clamp off under the hood was the charcoal canister. It captures the vapors from your tank when your engine is not running. Once you start the engine, the vacuum pulls air through the canister and purges the vapors into your engine. Everything is burned up and you don't pollute the vapors to the atmosphere.

If you think about it....you would know that you had a leak in your gas line LONG BEFORE you ever got to the emissions station, if that was your problem. ;)
