Might as well make the title Sevens Springs to TM with a little Raw Deal thrown in for good measure... but it didn't fit.
The day started out cloudy and chilly but everyone was looking for a great day out on the trails. 15 of us showed up for this run and we had TJ's, a YJ, XJ, ZJ (or WJ) and a outcast in a Bronco. LOL Dust, lots of dust too. Some mud also so now the Jeep has a few other shades of "mud" to it. LOL
Here some of are in the Albertson's parking lot:

A group this large is hard to keep in a pack on the road, here we are pulled over waiting:

On the trail (seems I enjoyed taking a lot of the mirror pics) :

Crossing over the damn type bridge thingie that goes to the Seven Springs campground. BTW, I nearly drove off the damn thing while taking a pic in true Jamie fashion:

Once past there, it was really rare to see lots of people. It was very desolate but relaxing too:

Potty and picture break... we had a lot of stops today, we had many chatterboxes on the trip (including me) :

We stopped for lunch at a great area with wonderful views of the mountains and some water:

Making our way up some switchbacks:

A view from the top:

We had a great view of New River at the top too, my pic was a little dark though so not a great shot. I also got a nice "Moooooooo" back from a cow at the gate exit after moooing at 'em with my little noise maker. My first ever reply. Had the guy in the Bronco rolling.
Once we were done with Sevens Springs trail, 5 of us continued on to Raw Deal. Tiffany was one of them and this was her first time out doing any sort of rock crawling:

Here she is waving the rear tire. We tried to have her flex some but it was difficult since she was still connected:

Here's one of our CJ guys getting some good air too. He did drive out of it:
http://i14.tinypic.com/344tixg.jpg
He also drove out of the air hole after seeing nothing but blue sky. Unfortunately he did it so fast none of us were ready with the cameras.
Here's our blue CJ (I call him barefoot cause he seemed to run around without shoes on all day... his reason, he's retired so why wear shoes!!! Good man!!) going down an obstacle:

And here is "Yellicon", making his way through the cracks:

Overall this is one of my favorite trails now that can be done with minimal air down and concentration. Just look at all the scenery and enjoy the ride. I had a blast today with some awesome people. Jacob, thanks for organizing this run and introducing me to a part of AZ I hadn't been to yet!!! For your first time leading, you did a good job.
Lastly, here is my pic of the day. I caught it out of the corner of my eye and had to stop:

Datura meteloides
Shauna said she's pretty sure it's a Sacred Datura (AKA moon lily). It blooms from April to November and is usually found by roadsides and in washes.
Hope that helps.

I know, but I thanked you for posting it. Thank Shauna for finding it out though. Both deserve it.
One last question, since it is a moon lily, is this one of those evening bloomers? I wonder cause it was cloudy today but wasn't that cloudy to the point that it should have bloomed.
I look forward to hearing from you on the next run. :) Hopefully I'll be around or can make it.

The boss said that your correct, It opens early evening and closed when the sun hits it. She also said NOT TO SMOKE IT! Although the Natives used it for some type of medicinal purpose. It must be poisonous :D

Nice pics! Looks like you guys had a great time.
The flower you took a pic of is also know as Loco Weed or Jimson Weed. There have been several cases of death in humans using it to get high. It can also kill livestock.
