Just wanted to share some of the photos taken by my wife and myself during the Moab Jeep Jamboree last weekend. I've posted them up on my flickr account:

We haven't been to Moab in nearly 30 years - and then in the dead of summer, driving a Chevette. We hiked until 9:30am - then ran for cover further north.

This time, we came with newly lifted, and newly tired Jeep. What a total blast! We are already saving our quarters for a return trip. We did Steel Bender and Fins N Things, and managed to get invited into a trail run into Canyonlands to do the Elephant Hill trail. Wow!:D

Wow Stephen, the LJ has really grown since the last time I wheeled with you. Nice job on the build and great pictures as usual. I really need to get the family up to Moab one of these days.

Compare? Hmm -tough one. Elephant Hill is only difficult at the start and end (same spot). It also takes a serious drive to get to. Kind of neat - since you can see the start of the trail right at the trailhead, so most folks look, shake their heads and go someplace else. The rest of the trail is simply awesome country with a few minor obstacles added.

Steel Bender is a trail just outside of twon, with obstacle drive obstacle drive obstacle drive as a pattern - in awesome country. Terri did the driving that day - and she made it with minimal coaching.

Terri drove all of Steel Bender. We'd go back as soon as we had the money. Jeep Jamboree or just a group of AZ Jeepers.
