I'll post up in the morning if I run into problems or time delays with getting my tire fixed.
It will be nice to run with you again Joe, and this time I have lockers & gears!!

Lamanite, the last time I did this trail it was a night run over the summer, so it had been dry. At that time I would've said yes. But since all of the rain I'm not sure of the trail condition. There is a spot where you could park your Rubi and ride with one of us if it looks to hairy for you. Ryan sounds like he may be a better judge of the trail condition.

Ryan, hope you can make it! Lamanite's jeep is on 245's (31's) & locked front & rear.

A buddy and I decided to head up to Squeeze Rock this morning. We were making out way through the trail and came to the narrow section that had a lot of water in it. After some debate and tossing some rocks in to measure depth, we decided to turn around. We ran into this group and another VJC group on our way out. I'm not sure if anybody made it through the trail. Most of us turned around.

There were a few noticeable difference on the trail from the last time I ran this trail in May. Here are some before and after pics of the area.

The Squeeze back in May-06. Look at the dirt level.

The Squeeze today. The dirt is a couple of feet lower.

Another pic of the Squeeze. A lot of dirt & sand has been washed away.

Tight section back in May-06. It was bone try.

Here it is today. The mud did not look very friendly.

hey John, Did you guys notice the bypass up and around that wet spot juse back and to the left from where you took the picture? Woulda been right up yoru alley! Well now that i think of it depending on the year the water crossing just might be the bypass for the gnarly stuff up top! Looks like the water is down about a foot from the last time john and i were tempted to cross it. Woulda prolly made it at the depth you guys saw but the stench im sure would ahve been enough for me to turn around

IM stuck at work today but i would love to have gone :(

Yeah, I went and walked the rock wall with my buddy. I just didn't like the look of it. And my buddy liked it less! My biggest concern with the mud hole was the stench and getting mud all over the jeep. I was not in the mood for the cleanup.
