I would urge those of you that haven't gone on this run to go while you can. It is really beautiful, right now.
I heard they are drilling to plan the strip mine.
and they say we are a danger to the land....

My CJ isn't done yet so it's a no go for me :(
This trail would have made for a good shakedown run.

I was done with it last week
I brought it to Todd Tuesday morning and it was supposed to be ready today. Seems the steering arm hasn't arrived yet (or should have today) so now the word is Tuesday. We'll see...

Great day for wheeling today. I Had a blast with a great group of people despite the carnage.
Carnage: Rocker panel damage (Jamie), Bent tie rod (Allen), Broken pinon gear (Kyle).
Kyle had to take the carrier and locker out of his rear diff so we didn't get to finish the whole trail. We turned around halfway down the creek side and limped Kyle back to 177 via FR315 in front wheel drive.
Here's a few pics. If anybody has more post them up.:)

Great meeting you all!!! I have just shy of an hours worth of video from Saturday if anyone has the means to transfer it to DVD, I'll lend you the tape. Its one of those mini-digital casettes, I think its a pretty uniform size for new-ish camcorders.
Anyway, thanks for leading Mike, and thanks for the peer pressure/rocker damage. =) just kidding. I'm really glad you didn't let me wuss out and "encouraged" me to come up the obstacle with everyone else.
I'll post up pics from Johns (my passenger) a bit later.
