What an awesome day! It was my first time on that trail and one of the most scenic trails I have been on in AZ. Some challenging spots, bypasses on most. First mile or so of the trail was freshly graded. We met up with a "CornHusker" in a nice Land rover Discovery and he joined up for the trip. I must say I was impressed and I think most of it was his driving skills. He was real smart on the lines I thought. Anyway he made it through just fine. Complete with leather seats and ceiling mounted DVD player. :p
It was also my first outing with my new 33's and I gotta tell ya, I can get used to that real quick! After running 31's it is not much difference but I did notice the extra clearance and ease of getting over stuff. With 3.73 the power on the hiway was still there. So happy about that too.
Anyway I left at 6:30 in the morning (I am usually up at the crack of 9  ) and got home at 6:30, long day. The road out of CK is longer than I thought.
We had time to take some poser pics and winched a stuck Rhino as well.
I will be running this again.... soon.
FYI - the group in front of us had a stock X with them and they made it fine taking the bypasses. So you stockers.... Go for it!
