I am going to Moab the weekend before Thanksgiving. Going to stay until Wed or Fri, still undecided. Anyone want to go up? Going to trailer the rig and take the family, so bring the wife and kids if you can!

I would love to go but you know the reason why I can't. I'd sure like to be included in your shake down run with you though.

Let's do something where we can winch TBob.:D

Lance,

My wife and I just bought an Itasca 35A Motorhome and may be interested in trailing along. Will also trailer the rig (getting a blue ox installed on the RV next week). Were you considering an RV Park? And if so which one would you recommend (I need full hookup with 50 amp service)? Let me know your thoughts. I was in Moab back in May, but not with my own rig. This trip might be an early birthday present to self :)

Thanks,

Stuart

Let me get you some info on RV parks. We are staying at a hotel, but we can meet up at McD's each morning. Would love to have someone else tag along.

My spouse and I just came back from our first Jeep run to Moab with the Jeep Jamboree folks. Fantastic place - we are jealous! If we win the lottery (or my rich uncle gets out of the poor house, dies and leaves it all to us) we'd be there in a heartbeat!

Have a great time!

Got the sqeal fixed(Broke mount on T-case), new alloy shafts in front, new hub, new Monkeybars cage, new contol arms, new Currie HD steering, adjusted front pinion angle, New crusher corners, new flush brake lights, new extended brake lines, etc. Just throwing more cash into it:rolleyes:

And yes, got all 4 tires back on the ground!

Any Cracks run planned soon?

What an awesome trip. Went wheeling for 7 out of 8 days. Ran Fins N Things, 7 Mile Rim, Steel Bender, Metal Masher, Klondyde Bluffs, Pritchett Canyon, Poison Spider Mesa, Golden Spike, Gold Bar Rim and Hells Revenge. Ran all the trails solo except Pritchett Canyon. I hooked up with a bunch of guys from a different forum on Friday for that one. Here are a few pics....

The camera went down on a couple trails, but had a blast. The temps were a little chilly, highs around 41 degrees, lows around 25 degrees.

Me too. The guys I hooked up with for Pritchett were going to leave a fellow wheeler who had some carnage. Guess who was the only one to help him limp off the trail? Guys like that gives wheelers a bad name, besides the fact they were making their own trail and bypasses and going where there was signs telling them not to. I was happy to help out the other guy who broke so I wouldnt have to wheel with them anymore. Have to set up a trip for next year. It was a blast!

I hope you took down the license plates and details on those guys and turned them in to the BLM. It is jerks like that who get trails closed. Or better yet, turn the info in to the Red Rock 4 Wheelers and let them handle it "Moab style" ;) .

Glad you had fun and good weather!

Yeah, Mom and Dad went, but only ran Fins N Things with me. I think I scared them off early! LOL I got some hilarious pics of Pop and me trying to shovel my Mom into my Jeep. She is 4'11" and had to step on my Pop to get in! LOL
