Glad it ran smoothly and everyone had a good time. Wish I could have been there but I spent all weekend getting my CJ in this condition...

X2 on what Simon said. It was a very well organized run and a whole lot of fun. Everything from the Police escort to Fire rescue in full gear at the waterfall ready for action.
BFG raffled off a set of tires and Toys X Troy, 4 Wheelers Supply, and 4 Wheel Parts raffled off some nice prizes. Additionally BFG awarded a check for $3,500 for trail maintenance.
Thanks to TC for organizing this. It was amazing all those Jeeps made it through in the amount of time with only a few minor problems.
Here are some pics....
Lined up ready for inspection.

What type of "action" were the firefighters ready for? Were they getting ready for someone rolling upside down in the drink?

That waterfall was covered in mud. One wrong move and you would go in roof first. Pictures dont do it justice. From what I hear, Cole was the only one to make it without a winch. Bfg Krawlers,LS1 and a heavy foot. If you notice in the pic, I got out. That water looked cold. I wasn't going in.:D Coles young he can swim for it.:)

When we ran it in May, I dropped my passenger rear into that dip and it teetered for a second or two where I thought for sure I was taking a swim, and it wasn't anywhere near that deep. Anyone who goes over will certainly land on their roof. Even if they roll further onto the driver side, the driver would still be submerged and could drown if they can't get themselves unbuckled.
Glad nobody gave the rescue crew anything to do, but still nice to see them on standby.

Yep, pictures definitely don't do it justice. That ledge gives you a very funny feeling and if you were to go over as you said you would definitely be upside down. I ran that trail a couple months back... I'm suprised Nick hasn't chimed in yet as he brought his XJ up that without a winch...

I've done it :D It was dry at the time though. I had no spotter, and didn't even pause at the bottom to scope it out. Just crawled it.
I'm sure it's a lot different when wet.

Ya no room for any mistakes as this years water and mud makes it very hard to get up there, the water is as deep as ive seen it yet and thats why we had the rescue boys there just in case somebody took the tumble, someone told me the water was 6 to 7 ft. deep plenty of water to drown a person in an upside down rig........Thom (T.C.'S TOY):) :)

A Big Thanks for all of you who made this Event a Great Time! Without the Rigs that came it would have not gone as well. Really great timing too, 31 rigs and we were out of there by 2:15pm. Great Jobs Drivers & Crew. I need to see if all those who took pictures would send them to me direct email so I can make a disk for The Rim Country 4 Wheelers. My daughter was to take pics but she had to deal with her small WET daughter and had to go back to the camp area. Please email them to janicewinters@yahoo.com. or send me a disk. Let me know, Thanks Again for everyones help. TC/Donna you Rock.

I love that obstacle when it's full of water. To me it's no fun when it's dry and you can see the bottom. :D

Great job putting this weekend together. The trail was quite fun in the rain!!!! Iam a little suprised that there wasn't more carnage. My group was at the tail end and we towed an xj off an obstacle after his water pump died, and helped an old cj get unstuck off the first waterfall. Other than those two minor things I didn't see any other problems.
Kudos for pulling off a great weekend!!!!:) I know you guys worked hard, and it all came together. Thanks for the invite. Hopefully we'll get a snow run in soon.

It was just havin both axles locked and at least 33'' tires and as far as forestry was concerned had to have some kind of liability insurance, case a rig flipped and caught fire yeta,yeta.........Thom
