Subject: Club discount at Darners Parts
I signed up AzVJC for a 25% club discount at Darner Jeep (Mesa) - for parts
(not service).
Club number is 29176 - but I think all you need to do is identify yourself
as a club member, and show them your decoder ring.
Happy Trails.....

Subject: Jeep Wont Start Again
Thanks for help from Stu I narrowed it down to a spark problem. I
have a 81 CJ7 w/258. After checking for spark I pulled the
distributor cap can saw that the rotor is not moving when I try to
start the engine. It doesnt spin freely but does not rotate. Does
this mean I busted a timing chain?
Having a old Jeep is alot more fun when you have a another form of
transportion to get to work (to pay for everything). This time last
year i would have been going crazy trying to get it fixed.
Thanks for the Help

Hey....use any discount you can get! And don't feel bad because they are
giving it you to either!
I stopped by Bill Luke Chrysler on Monday to order a couple of small dollar
parts.
Just for grins, I asked what the price was for a ZJ e-brake cable. I was
proudly quoted $35 per side. I'll be getting the cables from my friend in
CA. His business allows him to get them at dealer cost.....$13 for one side
and $14 for the other is what he was quoted at a CA dealership.
You would think a dealership would be happy with a 100% profit on an
item....but I guess not. :(

John my 5 year old took some pictures. Thought I would share these with
you. I let him use the digital camera for the day and he had a blast. It
is kinda neet seeing his perspective.

Thanks all for the great time on the trail. Look forward to seeing all

start the engine.

I will post my pictures after they are developed.
Thanks all for the great time on the trail. Look forward to seeing all
