New to the north side of town

I just moved to north Peoria. I was wondering where the closest trails are, somewhere I could go afterwork. I know Table Mesa area is up here some where but I have never been to any of those trails.

How far is the table mesa area from 83rd and union hills?

25 minutes, maybe 30 depending on speed. Take the 101 east to the 17. Take 17 north to the Table Mesa Rd. exit, about 5 or 6 miles north of Anthem.

You can also go southwest 40 minutes or so to the White Tanks north of Buckeye.

There are some trails and fun hill climbs up toward Lake Pleasant. Go out to 99th Av and go north. Turn left just prior to Hwy 74 (across from the white restaurant/bar)... Additionally, there are a lot of trail on the same side of the street as the bar. Take a GPS so you can find your way out.
