Me BamBam and the gang ran Elvis and Martinez today. Simon and Cole tagged along with the 4Wheeler's Buggy so they could get used to all the fancy gadgets, even though it was a bit overkill for both trails. It was obvious that all eyes were on them since they had the coolest rig and we were expecting quite a show.
Here's the Dynamic Duo proudly representing 4 Wheelers supply!

Well at least until they were less than a quarter of a mile on the road to Elvis. Then all of a sudden they were pretty embarrassed. I guess somebody forgot to tighten the lug nuts on the driver's front tire and it went rolling through the desert. Can you see the look on Simon's face!

After a lot of laughs and razzing, the tire was put back on and off to Elvis we went.

Here they are on the second obstacle. Now that's more like it!

here's kyle on the same obstacle.

On the next obstacle Kyle actually dented his driver's side Poison Spyder quarter panel.

We then went on to the next waterfall. Here's Whalin!

Okay back to Martinez. Cole was able to find a nice obstacle to test the buggy on. Now That's Cool!

There was a nice down pour of rain while we were on the loop but it soon cleared up and provide some beautiful shots of the canyon.
http://www.virtualjeepclub.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=7650&stc=1&d=1160367918
Kyle got a little close to the edge trying to avoid a large washed out section of the trail on the switchbacks. He had to winch himself back on the trail to avoid rolling down the cliff.

We ended the day with a run through the water of Box Canyon. By the way my new MTR's worked great! I'm very happy with them.

Yep! I do beleive it was a black Diamond lift on his YJ, which was Warn and now Pro Comp I think.

That kit plain rocks. Like anything; it just needs some fine tuning and a good driver. ;)

The kit always worked on the trail but Hopefully the New Generation kit, you do not have to unhook the links to drop the skid plate. ;) :D

Big thanks to our great trip leader Mike (Desertdawg) what a great day!!
Also thanks to all for the assistants with the tire, every one jumped right in and lend a hand or tool. With a great group like this not one was asked to help just did. Hopefully get a few more trips like this in here real soon. :) More pics to come...

Thought you guys would get a kick out of this.
After my wife seen the carnage and went ballistic on me I received this e-mail from her this morning
"Hi sweetie, I just wanted to tell you I love you even though you are such bad driver."
Well the new bumper and winch will have to wait as it is time for corner protection.....

Thanks for leading a great trail DesertDawg and a big thanks to Kyle for doing a great job spotting me :D . I escaped without any body damage! I is too bad I can't say that for everyone.
It was a awesome day of wheeling, just about everyone stepped it up a notch and did all the difficult obstacles. I think it was because of the 4 Wheelers buggy, it was intimidating :) .
Great bunch of jeepers with good attitudes, we definetley need to get out again in a few weeks.
Oh ya, I got to witness my first 39" flying BFG Crawler, last seen heading for the desert!
Here are some pics... enjoy...
