Yep, what Jamie said. You'd probably get a bit more bites if it wasn't for many on this forum going to the Recovery 101 being held on Raw Deal the same day.

I know how bad that area is Rio lost his windshield on the rocks there, plenty of pics of that one, but the first ledge was so undercut that it was difficult to find a good line. I can't believe that much has come off the wall to fill that area.

I was there on my own a few weeks ago. There is still opportunity to mess up bigtime by choosing the wrong line.

I want to thank everyone that came out for a fun day of wheeling. We had these vehicles: 1 XJ, 2 YJ's, 1 CJ, 1 TJ, and a Toyota FJ-40. We left about 9:10 went to Turtle Falls, everyone made it look easy except the CJ, he was locked front and open in the rear and the tires just wouldn't hook up. He changed his line a couple times and then drove right up. Next on to Intimidator, we all made it to the first out with no problems, Brandon took a look at the Can Opener fall and gave it a try, just to slide over and hit the rear of his YJ. He backed down to give Don a shot, his YJ also slid but his flat skid gave him just enough room to get up without any body damage. Next to give it a try was the FJ-40 he went hard into the rear corner, and while trying to get off, his front drive shaft came apart, a quick fix and a pull from a strap and off he came. The CJ, and Toyota told us to go on and they would catch up later. My son led the way to Lower Scorpion, which we all made with no trouble. It was only about 11:00 when we finished, so we went to Upper Scorpion to give it a look, after a little talking about it up we started to go. I looked at those pics. and it looks easy but we all had to work at it a little (except Don) he chose to hit the wall with his front fender and that gave him the right line. We still had a little left in us so we went and ran Tie Rod Wash, and again no trouble. So with a group of well equipped vehicles we ran 5 trails in about 4 hrs.

On a side note we ran into the Toyota on the way out he said that the CJ broke a front axle that's why they didn't catch up. Thanks for a great day of wheeling; you guys make leading easy. :)

Barry

I agree your right rear gets hook on the ledge and it pulls the front right around.:D

I agreee also 5 trails, not too early of a start, perfect weather, and home in time to relax and go out to dinner. Excellent.
