Wish I could go with you on this one. I love Huston Mesa Area. I run that area at least 2 times a month. (got family there) Hell's Half Acher is nothing like it used to be but there are some fun trails out of Shoefly. Just take the cut off right before you get to Shoefly. Then follow back. Not hard but nice and cool this time of year. Once you get back into the open field. Kill the rigs and listen. Depending on the time of day you may hear a boat load of elk bellowing in the distance. Lots of fun to do a night run up in that area. Another good one there is to hit the 198 (right hand dirt raod off of Huston Meas. Get to the top at the Cattle gaurd and turn left. Lot's of rocks but my stocker did fine on 31's. This is also the trail where I lost my License Plate. So watch the little trees on the side of the trail. They'll reach out and bite you. Have fun and let me know if you hit any of these. I'll be back up there again later this month if anyone else wants to have a go on some really beuatiful trails.

It turns out I will be up there this weekend. 8th and 9th. I'll be headed up shortly after the sunflower mine run. I was going to do the T-Mesa clean-up but I have to take someone home to Payson on sunday instead so I figuared I would jump on the Sunflower mine trip since I'm headed that way. Might see ya'll on the trail.

One of theses days, Dave just might get the highway numbers right, but I don't know if it will be in my lifetime.

What he meant to say is Highway 87 (not 89) and the 260, in Payson.

I do believe that 89 goes through Sedona, Jerome, Prescott, yada yada yada!

Just giving you a hard time Dave! Ha.
